IN ONE LINE

DOT PROTOCOL does not collect personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics and no trackers, and the current version shows no ads. Your progress stays on your device.

WHO WE ARE

DOT PROTOCOL is made by dotstudio, operated by Wawrzyniec Szatanik, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland (NIP 9581417107), the data controller. Contact: legal@szatanik.dev.

THE ANDROID APP

What the app stores. Your game progress (upgrades, unlocks, achievements, records) and your settings (sound, music, vibration) are stored on your device only. The app sends none of it to us or to anyone else.

Backup. If Android backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android may copy the app's data to your Google account so it can be restored on a new phone. Google runs this backup under its own privacy policy; we cannot see it.

Save codes. OPTIONS can copy your progress as a save code. It is shared only if you share it.

Purchases. The app sells one optional purchase through Google Play. Google Play handles the payment. We do not receive your card or payment details; Google tells the app only whether the purchase is owned.

Supporter names. If you buy the optional SUPPORTER pack, you may e-mail us the name you want shown in the game's credits. We use that e-mail only to add the name, and to check the order number against the purchase. The name is published in the game only because you asked for it. To have it removed, write to us, and the next update drops it. We keep the e-mail only as long as the name is in the credits.

Statistics from Google Play. Google Play gives developers aggregated statistics: installs, active devices, purchases, ratings, and crash and performance reports (Android vitals). These are summaries that Google collects under its own privacy policy. They do not tell us who you are.

Permissions. Vibration, used for the gentle buzz on a hit (you can switch it off in OPTIONS). The app declares Internet access because its framework requires it; it opens a web page only when you tap a link such as this policy.

THE GAME (WEB VERSION)

The browser version stores your progress in your browser's storage on your device. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.

THIS WEBSITE

This site is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, uses no trackers, and collects no personal data. It is served by Cloudflare, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.

E-MAIL

If you write to us, we receive what you send and use it only to reply. We keep it only as long as needed to answer you.

CHILDREN

The game collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Outside of e-mail we hold nothing. For data held by Google (backup, Play purchases), use your Google account settings. You may also complain to the Polish data protection authority (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).

CHANGES

A future free version of the game may show ads served by Google AdMob, and we may add optional statistics. Before either one ships, this page is updated to say what is collected and why, and the app asks for your consent where the law requires it. The date at the top shows the last change.
